I am a dedicated individual looking to support people who have an intellectual disability and their families as they pursue possibilities, make choices and achieve the life they want. I hold strong values of diversity, dignity and worth of every individual in the workplace. Through all my job titles I have held a high regard for mature and sound judgment. I have done so at Solaris Rehab where I worked with patients who had a major accident and needed help filling out their applications for insurance coverage. Through the paperwork they would need to test their physical abilities and I always ensure I communicated with sensitivity and respect. I have a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. I am available to work overnight shifts, morning shifts and all Holidays because I have an extremely flexible schedule. I already have an extensive knowledge in medical terminology with my medial admin skills which I have gained through the Medical Administration program at St. Clair College and working as a Team Lead for a medical transcriptionist and dictation staff at Solaris Rehab. I have also worked as a medical admin student with Dr. Fernando. I have gained analytical and problem-solving skills to probe for information, assess situations and determine appropriate course of action through my role at Solaris Rehab with patients. As well I have much experience effectively analyzing information to determine the underlying needs of someone beyond those, that may have been initially expressed due to my empathy and own physical recovery in general.
