I have been in the construction trade for 30+ years. Starting my career as a teenager in residential remodel working for a mason/GC in SE Iowa. I worked over summer breaks and after school and continued on after graduating high school. At 22 yrs, I moved to Las Vegas and started a career as a residential framer building track homes and later moved on to high-end custom homes. I stayed in the residential side of construction for over 8 yrs, working my way up the ladder from carpenter to foreman and on to crew supervisor. My talent was not only framing, but I learned all aspects of residential building. From concrete to roofing and framing to finishing, as well as custom doors and hardware. I learned how to read prints, hardware schedules, how to stay on schedule and manage crews. From there, I took on work with a commercial GC and started working on schools, banks and smaller multiplex dwelling's. I worked my way into the site superintendent roll and continued working on banks and schools as well as medical office buildings and retail stores. Some addition/remodels and some from the ground up.In my years of construction I have learned to pay attention to detail and never assume anything. Research and communication are key in an effort to be proactive and stay ahead. I strive to pre-plan how things will go together and help contractors visualize the process, stay safe and focused. My projects come in with minimal punch, on time and under budget. I am well rounded with in depth knowledge of all aspects of construction from planning and pre-construction to site work and underground utilities to a finished project striving to exceed all expectations. I am also adept at quality assurance, budget/cost controls, crew supervision/mentoring/motivation, and directing all aspects of multi-million dollar construction and renovation projects. I put forth constant effort to improve my knowledge and quality of work. I look forward to learning new things each and everyday. Whether on site or from others at a distance.
