From Ottawa Ontario, currently attending Medical Office Administration at St. Lawrence College (Kingston Campus). I have recently done my placements at CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) on the Surgical Daycare Unit. I have a strong appreciation for this field, and have always had a passion for working in a hospital setting. I am an outgoing, organized, hard-working and empathetic person to be around. Love to work as a team just as much as doing work projects alone. I enjoy working with the patients and their families one on one just as much as putting there medical charts together and the paperwork that follows. Working in a hospital setting has always been important to me as I was a patient on and off through my younger years and fell for the loving, hectic, high energy that it gave off.I have a strong knowledge of computer programs such as, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sage 50 Accounting, and Access. I am a very organized individual so my paperwork will never be a mess, which is important when making individual medical charts. I am an easygoing person, so whether it is dealing with patients and their families or with my co-workers, everything runs smoothly.
