I provide strategic energy management services that help clients mitigate climate change, support DEI efforts and produce positive economic impacts in the energy space. I develop program content and provide corporate, non-profit and private businesses individual coaching for organizational change, technical energy efficiency improvements and compliance with the Washington State Clean Buildings and Seattle emissions laws. As part of our cohort model, I facilitate large workshops and create programming for our Commercial SEM programs and our Clean Buildings Accelerators. I work with utilities across the state to provide their customers with tools and knowledge to advance their energy management practices while reducing their impact on the electric grid and the environment.

With my business partners, I built and led a new team through designing and developing the strategic direction and production of an internal data streaming platform. Designed to bring Getty's personalization and customer communications into the modern age, our focus was on creating long-term, sustainable solutions that would meet revenue goals while also maintaining and enhancing Getty's reputation of providing world-class content across the globe.While forging new territory by creating partnerships and operations strategies between the marketing, product and technology organizations, I contributed significantly to the company's business goals (~$16.7 million in revenue and revenue retention), led the growth of a brand new team and product, developed new processes being widely adopted and secured committed, long-term investment from executives. During my time in this role, I was nominated a number of times for Getty's Leadership Principle awards by my colleagues and supervisors and I spearheaded an office sustainability initiative in the Seattle headquarters.

Working alongside business and product stakeholders, I led cross-functional teams through discovery, development, deployment and analysis of product enhancements aimed to improve customer satisfaction and retention. I was brought in as a consultant to help a small, fairly new creative agency audit and improve their systems, tools and processes. I helped them advance their P&L tracking, internal communications strategy, project management tools and best practices, as well as moved them to cloud-based collaboration.

Mto Wa Mbu, Tanzania

Committed to moving forward the organization's vision to create gender and inter-generational equity, equal opportunity for education, and long-term, sustainable practices and facilities, I moved to rural Tanzania to develop and implement a new communications program, strategy and role. I designed and set up efficiency systems for tracking and managing deliverables, created and executed a new content strategy across all digital channels and directed the development and deployment of a new website and donation-platform. When I wasn't focused on implementation of social sustainability solutions, I spent my time on campus planting and maintaining an organic garden for school lunches, building composting toilets and spearheading the "water project," a fundraising effort that led to the eventual construction of a 120,000L underground water storage tank, a crop irrigation system, a grey water leach field, and hand-washing stations at the toilet and kitchen areas.

After receiving Scrum Alliance certification, I implemented company-wide agile processes and methodologies, as well as acted as Product Owner and ScrumMaster to develop and execute a product vision for various clients.

Traditionally a print media firm, when Winning Mark decided to get into the mobile app space, I was promoted to lead the newly formed dev department and implement an agile development process. We designed and developed a mobile advocacy app platform and client dashboard for Android and iOS. I facilitated the sale and deployment of customized apps to two major clients: Our Oregon and Oregon AFSCME.

Hired as a temporary assistant for the 2010 election, I was promoted after two weeks to become an on-staff account manager for multiple, major political clients. This quickly led to me taking over the direct mail program. In this role, I instituted a company-wide pricing and large-scale tracking system for managing client plans and deliverables, as well as oversaw strategy development, design, print production and delivery of millions of pieces of mail per election cycle. I also worked with our digital team to create innovative online organizing models to increase visibility and earned media in support of direct mail campaigns.

I led a company initiative to modernize Key Publishing’s video archive by filming new events and editing alongside archival content to create promotional videos. I also assisted the web manager with social media strategy and community engagement using video and digital content.
