I am a second year accounting and entrepreneurship co-major at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University who is driven by ambition, problem solving, and determination. When I find something that lights a spark inside of me, nothing can stop my determination from reaching the goals placed before me. I seek every opportunity as an experience to learn, grow, and advance my knowledge of business by seeing failure as an opportunity. My passion for entrepreneurship, creativity, numbers, and improvement in the world around me ignites my business spirit.My drive, determination, leadership, creative thinking, organizational skills, strong work, team engagement, ethics, and problem solving skills has led me in 2015 to being a co-founder of a non-profit organization called The Avalon Foundation which helps kids going through painful medical treatments. I have collaborated and spoken in front of fortune 500 companies to gain support and funds for The Avalon Foundation. My problem solving skills led me to create a house build fundraiser called House for Hope, which helped solve a funding need for the Avalon Foundation and another local non-profit, Catching Up with Jack. Through determination, community collaborations and donations from large and small businesses, we were able to raise $100,000 which was split evenly between the two non-profit organizations.I have been recently working as an assistant office manager at Ridge Stone Builders during school breaks where I help prepare for meetings with clients for million dollar projects, work to improve job productivity, and network with local businesses.I am actively seeking internship opportunities and look forward to connecting with you.
