I obtained funding from the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program to assist with data collection of mechanical properties of tissues. I was the second author of "Decay of Tissue Mechanical Properties Over 24 Hour Period" which was featured in the Design of Medical Devices Conference scientific poster session and the September 2016 issue of the Journal.

Columbia, Missouri

As an intern for Missouri DESE I worked for the Columbia Vocational Rehabilitation Regional Office which assists individuals with disabilities in reaching their vocational goals. I organized both the physical and electronic files, did extensive data entry, and helped with general tech support. I also interacted with customers by taking phone calls.

I established a positive environment, helped scholars realize their full potential for learning, supported teaching staff and comforted homesick students at this sleep away summer program for gifted individuals.

I studied catecholamine exocytosis in chromaffin cells and used SketchUp and DraftSight to alter circuit designs.
