Provided a variety of cost and financial services for a global, multifaceted confidential client.

Duties and responsibilities included contract management, cost management, change orders (review, issue, and monitor), monthly reporting, invoice reviews and approvals, accruals, budget and commitment tracking, cost forecasting, and various contract management issues. This position interacted daily with the Record Architect, Project Execution team, Executives, Controllers, Procurement, etc.

Duties and responsibilities included initial review, response to, distribution, coordination and tracking of RFPs, proposals, and modifications to the Contractor’s contract; review, distribution, coordination and tracking of all project submittals; assisted with review, response to and coordination of RFIs; assisted with resolution of various project issues; assisted in communication and coordination between and conflict resolution among over a dozen different government departments, design/build contractors, and construction managers.

Review and analysis of Requests For Equitable Adjustment (REAs). Authored responses to REAs which included research and response into each claim asserted which significantly mitigated any liability.

Duties and responsibilities included the creation of closeout policies; identification of non-compliances in task order contracts, Subcontractor contract(s), and client deliverables; review of final billing and payment; completion and compliance review of various internal and Federal forms; maintaining open communication with all affected departments; and Development of closeout procedures manual.

Began project as Project Engineer with typical PE responsibilities such as submittal review and tracking, drawings / specifications upkeep, RFP review and tracking, reports, etc. Transitioned into an expanded function with added responsibilities such as construction issue resolution, contractor contract modifications, and more client interaction. Approved for FBI “Top Secret” Security Clearance.

Tasks included: project mobilization, Project Management Control System (PMCS) design and implementation, training, staff augmentation, scheduling, claims analysis and preparation, cost and process analysis, and web technology integration.
