As a dedicated advocate for college access and persistence, I am passionate about empowering students to navigate the complexities of higher education. With over five years of experience in the field, I have worked tirelessly to advocate for underrepresented college students, ensuring they have the resources, support, and guidance necessary to thrive academically and personally. My journey began with my introduction to higher education as a first-generation, Asian student, along with a plethora of involvement during my undergraduate experience, and continued education in Higher Education Administration, which ignited my commitment to student advocacy and college access & persistence work. I have collaborated with schools, community organizations, and families to develop programs that not only provide information about college options but also foster a culture of belief in every student’s potential.I specialize in dialogue practices, leadership & identity development, multicultural student affairs, and trauma-informed advising, and I am always seeking innovative approaches to improve student sense of belonging and retention. My work has led to meaningful student relationships, successful collaborations, increased student and alumni engagement, showcasing my dedication to creating sustainable change.I believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation, and I am excited to continue contributing to initiatives that break down barriers to college access. Let’s connect to share insights and explore opportunities to support students in their educational journeys!
