I helped launch a new innovation office where I use human-centered design and continuous improvement to enhance organizational effectiveness and community impact. I facilitate and lead cross-functional teams, such as the City’s Information Governance Partnerships and Policy team, and conduct community research to inform policy development. In 2019, I organized a sold-out, one-day innovation conference with 15 speakers from nine local governments to share best practices and encourage collaboration.

Portland, Oregon Area

I simultaneously managed two grant-funded Total Worker Health research programs for low wage and isolated workers. This included monitoring an $80,000 annual program budget, developing engaging program materials, communicating with business leaders, and supervising research staff and volunteers. I oversaw adaptation of a behavioral science-informed health program for implementation into a statewide training system serving 30,0000 home caregivers and successfully negotiated $70,000 in state funding for program adaptation research. I managed complex longitudinal databases and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate program effectiveness.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

I managed an international research survey, which included designing measures, coordinating language translations, and recruiting participants. I managed and analyzed large-scale quantitative datasets with up to 25,000 records. Following study completion, I communicated results through peer-reviewed publications, professional presentations, and practitioner-oriented blog posts. I conducted the department’s first graduate program evaluation, which resulted in changes to curriculum to include more project-based learning and contributed to increased resources being devoted to graduate student work area.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

I developed course structures and tracked student process for two undergraduate psychology courses and presented bi-weekly lectures to groups of 25 students. I also met one-on-one with students as necessary to advise on requirements for successful course completion. I developed creative active learning exercises and learning assessments.

I prepared employee engagement and leadership coaching feedback reports for clients and helped prepare client proposals. I assisted in industry-specific analysis of the largest statewide survey of Oklahoma businesses ever conducted. I collaborated in the development and modification of leadership competency models.
