Executed distinguished events portfolio of gala and golf events for the American Cancer Society with accountability for a significant income target of over $500k; successfully doubled year-over-year net income for golf event; built first young professional board of volunteers of 20 emerging leaders to create a new gala event; managed relationships with high-level corporate volunteers to ensure event success; identified, cultivated, and stewarded corporate donors; served as an ambassador for the ACS externally in the community; constantly identified new opportunities and sources for income.

Participated in strategy development, planning, and execution of University-wide and school-based fundraising initiatives; worked closely with annual giving and communications team to develop effective communication objectives and strategies for each fundraising appeal or campaign, including defining appropriate donor prospects and coordinating the development of print and electronic solicitations; spearheaded new campaigns such as TAG Day, Pitt Day of Giving, and the senior class gift.
