In the process of earning my bachelor's degree at UWGB, I became familiarized and involved in history & historiography, urban sociology & planning, philosophical thought & cultural values that shape reality over time, and economic/racial inequality. I think of myself as a historian motivated by the fundamentals of urban planning. We shouldn't be relying on technology as an exchange or transfusion of ideas to lift all sinking ships in society. I'm interested in problem solving, community building and cultural awareness. We ought to increase the amount of participants/voices in the political forum from the public sphere, rather than than alluding to these problems through virtual/corporate means.Since graduating, I have spent 3 hours a week helping with the launch of a politically involved non-partisan group called NEW APP (Northeast Wisconsin Advocates for Political Participation), that has since hosted a screening of "Citizen Koch" at Marcus Green Bay East Cinema
