The mission of the Child Care Council is to "link the parents of Sullivan County to safe, enriching, quality child care by strengthening professional providers through education and resources.We are committed to promoting quality child care for Sullivan County through educational opportunities, professionalism, commitment and respect." As subsidy specialist my responsibilities include but are not limited too:Guiding families through the subsidy application process for financial assistance with child care, gathering documentation for the Department of Family Services to make a determination on each case and monitoring time and attendance in child care programs so that Sullivan County child care providers receive appropriate and timely payment for their services. I work with parents and providers on a daily basis and am proud to be a part of an organization that recognizes the needs of its community.

As Assistant to HR manager my duties included but were not limited too:• Prepare job posting flyer and create targeted mailing list to recruit new employees.• Register new guards as per NY State regulations and archive records of inactive employees.• Developed layout and content for recently launched company website. • Test newly developed computer program for glitches and effectively communicate findings for corrections.• Prepare documents and files to complete bi-weekly payroll.• Collect finalized time sheets and use to prepare payroll using MS Excel.• Calculate overtime pay for all employees, including those working in multiple locations.• Understand formulas and relationship between payroll worksheets so that if an error is detected, troubleshoot and correct for submission to Paychex.• Calculate the accrual and usage of sick time as per NY State law. Add vacation pay as requested and complete file for Paychex verification.• Create client invoices using MS Excel and record them in QuickBooks. Keep received payments up to date and notify clients that are past due.• Assist with administration of employee health benefit plan and possess knowledge of current health care regulations.• Communicate with HR Manager and complete given tasks.• Update and maintain Employee Handbook content.• Exercise attention to detail in all areas.• Appropriately handle confidential information.• Develop a network that will be beneficial to research future needs for the business.• Maintain accurate and up to date filing system.• Ensure completion of tasks that are time sensitive.• Keep an organized work space to maximize productivity
