10/2012-05/2015 COMMUNICATIONS TEAM INSTRUCTOR- I was a subject matter expert in the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below Blue Force Tracker (FBCB2-BFT) hardware and Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) software. I helped to maintain currency and provide operational support and subject matter expertise instruction on position location reporting, tracking management as well as FBCB2-BFT & JCR operating procedures.- I've taught the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) system. This is a Combat Net Radio (CNR) currently used by U.S. and allied military forces. The radios, which handle voice and data communications, are designed to be reliable, secure and easily maintained. - Was certified in the AN/PRC-152 Multiband Handheld Radio (Harris Falcon III) which is a portable, compact, tactical software-defined combat-net radio manufactured by Harris Corporation. It has received NSA certification for the transmission of Top Secret data.- I helped to maintain and inventory 1.5 million dollars worth of Army communication equipment. This is crucial for the amount of service members who attend training during pre and post mobilization. If this equipment doesn't work, we are doing a disservice to our deploying forces. 09/2009-06/2012 COUNTER IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEFEAT (CIED) TRAINER.I spent 3 years instructing on the counter IED and mounted combat patrol lanes. During this time I taught the following subjects. -Instruction on Tactical Site Exploitation (TSE). TSE focuses on the actions taken by Soldiers and leaders at the point of initial contact with the enemy and or an improvised device. -Instructing on IED(Improvised explosive device) defeat and awareness-Instructing on HME(home made explosive) defeat and awareness-The proper usage of the Army's line of hand held metal detectors-Instruction and the proper usage of the military's MARCbot robot to detect and defeat IED's-Key leader engagement.

Mission:In coordination with Joint Base and mission partners, 174th Infantry Brigade executes and certifies individual and collective training IAW theater specific standards at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ for designated US Army Reserve, National Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard units to prepare Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen for deployment in support of Overseas Contingency Operations.[OC/T's are combat veterans in the rank of SSG through MAJ. They must be MOS (military occupational specialty) qualified and posses the ability to teach, coach, and mentor service members in preparation for deployment into theatre of operations.

After leaving Natick Ford and Dodge, I switched gears over to the Parts Department and went to work for R.H. Long Automotive group. During this time I was part of a team of parts consultants and performed the following duties: -Help consumers pick out automotive parts for their vehicles by diagnosing basic automotive problems.-Parts consultants also perform sales duties in attempting to sell more expensive items and increasing the dealership's profits.-We help to maintain inventory of the company's parts and supplies as to shorten the wait time for the customer. Priority one is to get the customer's vehicle back on the road.-Parts consultants also help track down and locate parts across the country that may be on backorder because of supply line issues from the manufacturer. -Parts consultants may also work in automotive shops, dealerships and parts stores. They maintain knowledge of automotive systems and inform customers of basic technical information on their cars.

Military Police protect lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations, as well as controlling traffic, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies. Military Police are responsible for providing support to the battlefield by conducting Area Security, Internment/Resettlement, Maneuver and Mobility Support, Law & Order, and Police Intelligence Operations.Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS (military occupation specialty) include:Performed as a team member in support of battlefield operations, installation law and order operations and security of Army resources and installations. Led military police teams in support of battlefield operations, led and supervised small sections in support of security and installation law and order operations.Led military police squads and sections, operated police desks, planed crime prevention measures, operated evidence rooms and prepared operations plans and orders in a military police detachment supporting of both battlefield and installation law and order operations and security of resources and installations.

Turning my love of cars into a reality, I got my first experience in the automotive field while working for this company. The learning experience was extremely educating though unfortunately ownership decided to close this location in 2000. While working for the Collision Repair industry I was responsible for taking care of the following:-Examining damaged vehicles and estimating the costs to repair utilizing the latest collision repair software. Unfortunately sometimes this included having to recommend a total loss if the vehicle was deemed unsafe to repair. -I helped with managing the repair centers technicians. This included sitting with the Shop Manager while conducting interviews for possible candidates and make recommendations to ownership. -I worked directly with the insurance companies to manage claims for our customers. I was personally responsible for tracking down payments from either the insurance company or from our customers to include supplemental damage claims. -I followed up with the customers to ensure they were satisfied with repairs. -I was responsible for maintaining the shop's inventory. This included ordering all parts needed for repairs by working within the estimate and the technician's needs. Part of inventory maintenance also included the technicians' tools, the shop's paint supplies, and various hardware needed to maintain productivity.
