As the Finance Manager at SF New Deal, I play a pivotal role in managing the organization's financial health and ensuring transparency in its operations. I am dedicated to optimizing resources and supporting the organization’s mission to strengthen neighborhoods by making it easier for under-resourced small business owners to succeed. I've had the opportunity to work closely with many small businesses over the years and have come to identify common challenges many small business owners face. Recognizing finance as a stand-out pain-point, I was led to a career path in non-profit accounting. While in my current role, I have successfully and cleanly managed SF New Deal’s annual audits, developed a fiscal and regulatory calendar to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and overseen all financial operations during a period of significant growth. Outside of my work, I have also studied fine arts, volunteered at several SF art museums and am passionate about the impact that arts and culture can have on the vibrancy of a community.
