Food Safety Research Position under Amanda Kinchla, Extension Assistant Professor in the Food Science Department. I conducted studies on the efficacy of sanitizing procedures on a small produce brush washer, as well as the environmental monitoring of a local farm's spin-drying machines. I presented my findings at the UMass Extension Twilight Meeting: UMass Applied Research Showcase and the Northeast Center to Advance Food Safety (NECAFS) October 2016 Webinar. Some of my study was also published in the UMass Extension Vegetable Notes eNewsletter.
