My research interests include exploring the intersection of federal land management agencies and private volunteer groups/non-profits in the management of public recreation sites. I am passionate about recreation and its interaction with the natural landscape and management for future site sustainability. I am proficient in using GPS devices, compasses, paper maps and other data collecting tools.My current qualifications include Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Faller 2 (FAL2), and NAI Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG).
