Kelsy Long serves as the Director of Media Relations for Clearwater Marine Aquarium. In this role, Kelsy leads all media pitching, story development, content strategy and content distribution to push forward CMA’s mission and enhance the brand. Her efforts are focused on garnering international, regional and local coverage for CMA through strategic communication, issues management, influencer and media relations, as well as developing and cultivating key partner relationships. Responsible for trade show planning, coordination, logistics and promotions. Oversee the implementation of a complete rebranding including all collateral pieces.Help the marketing team to establish the communication plan, strategic marketing plan, and ensuring that the tactical plan is being adhered to. Prepare copy for email and regular mail ad campaigns, assist in identifying marketing contacts in various industries, track ad campaign responses and compile analysis of ad campaigns. Create and distribute marketing materials to contact database, posting changes and updates to company website, write and distribute press releases.
