In my role at BCLC as a Community Outreach Manager, I had the opportunity to work with a crown corporation on their strategic outreach program to target communities within BC that hosted a gambling/gaming facility. Some of my responsibilities included managing a team of 10+ members, creating go to market strategies for new territories, communicating with stakeholders to help drive revenue share within the designated region, and driving marketing campaigns which included but not limited to; user signups via iPad quizzes, curating a contract long giveaway to increase retention, analyzing consumer feedback, updating social platforms to ensure accuracy, and incorporating improvements in delivery. While actively working with BCLC's team, my experience in the product development of this program also allowed me to build a roadmap to identify potential budgeting and advertising spend, how to target new areas that BCLC may be looking for in expansion, and analyzing existing areas in which future development could be made. From sales revenue to driving awareness, and piloting new programs in each region, my role as a Community Outreach Manager kept the consumer experience in mind, and allowed for a 23% year over year awareness increase while staying under budget and providing better education to the consumer.
