Relocated to Lehi, UT to partake in Utah’s largest highway expansion project valued at $1.7 billion. Highway I-15 Corridor Expansion from American Fork to Spanish Fork.Performed and supervised QA activities to assist the contractor comply with UDOT specification for the $1.7 billion I-15 CORE highway expansion project.Rebuilt and reconfigured 10 freeway interchanges and replaced 63 aging bridges, as well as the addition of two new lanes and one express lane for 27 miles of highway.Prepared and reviewed daily inspection reports of project activities. Performed sampling and testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt.Involved in a wide range of disciplines including: MSE walls, driven piles, asphalt, concrete paving, structural concrete, soft sub-grade remediation, and others. Worked closely with Contractors to identify discrepancies and non-conformances in scope. Assisted project Document Control in preparing audit-ready testing and inspection reports on a daily basis.
