I’m the Film Director at Materealize, a production company I founded to bring creative visions to life with cinematic flair.My education wasn't in film – I hold a degree in computer science, but my true passion has always been filmmaking. I began directing music videos for some of Malaysia’s biggest artists and eventually took on a Creative Director role at a leading production house in 2012, which helped me hone my leadership skills and understand the business side of the industry.I specialize in directing and leading teams to create visually stunning and commercially successful content. Whether it’s a music video, commercial, or short film, I’m passionate about making films that not only look beautiful but also connect with audiences on a deeper level. I’ve had the chance to work with big names like Lewis Hamilton and see some of my work go viral, which is always a nice bonus. But at the end of the day, I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with clients and the work we’ve created together.I’m a big believer in empowering my team. At Materealize, we work with an incredible group of freelancers who bring their expertise and energy to every project. I want to be known for creating films that entertain and move people, while also running a successful, creative business.Outside of work, I’m all about family time, traveling, and exploring new foods (I’m a huge foodie, and yes, I do cook when I get the chance).
