In my role as a freelance designer I have successfully completed challenging design projects ranging from corporate branding to web design. Other services I have supplied include various forms of print design such as company brochures, stationery and musical accessories.

For over a decade, I have acted as the main contract designer for Farrell. I take control of the majority of graphic and web design-related projects for the company, including maintaining the company website. In addition to this, I have created promotional materials including exhibit stands, vehicle wraps, advertisement graphics and more.Since 2020 I have taken on a more expanded role to include supporting the Marketing team at Farrell. This includes assisting with promotional material and events, social media asset creation and general marketing tasks set by the Marketing Lead.

As Lead Designer of Irish social aggregator startup Fandom, my role challenged me and allowed me to experience the expectation and demands required to design for a SaaS platform. I took designs from wire-frame to live stages, creating user-focused designs which made the process of creating an online hub an easy task. In addition to designing the platform, I led the brand design and created key sales documents which were used to pitch to potential customers, sponsors etc. I was also expected to continuously push the potential of Fandom by experimenting with innovative concepts and directions for the platform to take.

I co-founded ThisIsArdee.ie in early 2015. This Is Ardee became the go-to news source for the town of Ardee, Co. Louth - delivering hundreds of monthly news, sport and event articles as well as regular, popular features. Acting as the co-founder and lead designer on this project, my role was to create an impactful brand and design assets to attract and engage users.Across three years, ThisIsArdee.ie amassed a total of 12,000 social media followers and received on average 16,000 to 20,000 unique readers (Ardee has a population of approx. 5,000) per month. ThisIsArdee.ie established itself as a hugely respected feature within the local region.

The London Irish Centre contracted me to lead the design on various projects. These included designing a new, user-friendly website for the charity, as well as creating a wide range of promotional materials for events held at the Centre. In addition to these, I worked with LIC staff to compile city guides for Irish citizens emigrating from Ireland.
