My main duties in this role was reviewing every retrocession calculation that has been set up by the TA on BlackRock’s instruction, against an accurate version of the signed legal agreement that is retained on an internal recording system (DOX). Ensuring that for every legal agreement held that references a retro payment, there is an equivalent record held on the TA retrocession calculation engine. Quality checking of legal agreements is a main part of this job to ensure that the terms on the TA’s engine match terms on the legal agreement. In this role there is a strong sense of accountability and high degree of attention to detail and accuracy needed, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.Analysed daily trades and financial data, leveraging Tableau, Power BI, and custom dashboards to support investment decisions.Ensured compliance with financial regulations and optimised corporate investment strategies for top worldwide Investment banks.

I worked at a contact centre exclusively for premier customers and my main role was to be the first point of contact for any customer enquiries over the phone. This role requires a very broad knowledge of all products HSBC provide including Lending, Investments, Savings, Foreign Currency and International Services and requires a calm and confident manner at all times. I am an Expat and Foreign Currency expert in my department and hold key relationships within different areas of the business to inform my colleagues of changes in global environments and I have been pivotal in changing procedures within the bank to improve our service globally. The role requires attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership to deliver the best service to the customer where we do the right thing for the customer while staying within legal guidelines. These challenges make the job very dynamic and I have to be quick to adapt to changes and refresh my knowledge on protecting and growing the business at the same time.
