"It's just the way it is - there is no reason why." My mom would say to me when I asked too many questions as a kid. I have a passion for problem solving. The process of understanding the challenge, framing the problem into digestible pieces, and providing solutions never fails to fascinate me. In my current role as Strategy & Planning Manager, Fidelity Business Consulting at Fidelity International, I work on strategy consulting and corporate development projects to advise senior management at Fidelity International. Previously I spent 6 years at Commercial team working on everything related to Sales, Account Management, Commercial Underwriting, and Marketing at Allianz Trade in both Paris and New York City. A China native, I was educated in the United States, studied aboard in Australia, and worked in Paris for 2 years, and recently moved to London - my experiences in 4 continents open the door for me to building connections among various backgrounds and make me appreciate the intertwined fate of humanity despite the differences. When I'm not busy solving problems, I like to read about current affairs, politics, culture, and history, discuss movies with friends, listen to podcasts, go to HIIT classes and work on my yoga handstand, try new recipes, water my plants, and yes, always try to catch up on my New Yorker subscription.
