Manage the OCLC Archive and Museum collections as part of the OCLC Library team. Develop and execute the strategic vision and priorities for collecting materials of permanent value to OCLC. • Responsible for all aspects of product planning and development of OCLC’s WorldCat Local discovery search tool.
• Provides critical input to the product marketing team in product release and promotional efforts.
• Produces product strategy, roadmaps, annual product plans, business cases, and monthly product reviews, launch plans, white papers, product presentations, market messaging, event support, competitive write-up and user.
• Contributes to the production of the following for additional discovery offerings: Portfolio business plans, strategies, roadmaps, metrics, and operational plans; portfolio progress plans and reviews; user requirements.
• Assists in the development of strategies for customer acquisition and retention; manages relationships with user groups and assists sales team in generation of marketing and awareness plans.

• Supervised Battelle’s Technical Library team, and facilitated all technical library systems and services made available to serve Battelle research and engineering staff information needs worldwide. Led team of 8 staff.
• Managed annual $2M library budget which included funding for library subscriptions such as access to over 2000 electronic and print journals, approximately 100 databases, and provided federated search tools to make.
• Prepared business plans and annual objectives with milestones for all library functions and services.
• Provided reference librarian assistance for Battelle research and engineering staff on a daily basis by searching research databases and internal sources of company knowledge.
• Facilitated training sessions on library databases and software via ‘one-on-one’ or group settings to provide library users a better understanding of how to perform more successful database searches.
• Hosted library vendor product presentations and special guest lecturers as part of library outreach endeavor to engage Battelle staff as well as highlight relevant library resources and services.
