A multi-talented and innovative problem solver with a passion for Electronics, Automation, and Information Technology. I have a broad portfolio of hardware and software skills, underpinned by my studies in Electronic Engineering and experience in using my competencies to produce effective and cost-efficient solutions to real-world problems.My proficiencies include embedded systems, full-stack development, machine learning, computer vision, analogue and digital electronics. My final year design project and thesis was a Game Playing Appliance for Cats, which was essentially a "touch-screen projector" built using a raspberry pi with an integrated camera module and low-budget LED projector. The appliance used computer vision and machine learning techniques to identify and track cats interacting with a custom-designed game projected onto a wall, and earned the UKZN EECE award for the most innovative design implementation by a final year student in Electronic Engineering.
