About Kemi Adenubi

I am a Strategic Consultant and Non-Executive Director with a breadth of specialist experience in areas such as digital advisory and commercial transformation, supporting businesses and inspiring their boards to prioritise decision-making and secure cross-functional organisational and operational change. In 2018, I launched Think Act, an independent consultancy, to provide advisory services to a range of clients, including Transport for Wales. I worked closely with the Welsh Government and bus operators during this five-year collaboration to make bus transport more efficient and sustainable across the country. Alongside my consultancy engagements, I am building a Non-Executive Director portfolio. This has included four years with NHS Isle of Wight Trust, where I contributed decisively to its long-term corporate development. I chaired the digital transformation board, acted as wellbeing guardian and worked on a number of committees alongside my NED responsibilities.Earlier roles include 13 years as Programme Director for NHS Digital, enabling digital change in the GP clinical IT industry, and Programme Manager at Kellogg Brown & Root. I began my professional journey as a Chartered Civil Engineer. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in delivering at scale across multiple industries and topics, such as government procurement, construction, transport, engineering and health tech. This has equipped me to drive technology innovation, champion outcome-focused organisational development and help organisations and their leadership achieve commercial and financial sustainability.I embed corporate governance, drive scenario and succession planning and optimise performance with innovative digital solutions matched to the evolving business landscape, managing risk and addressing critical data and cyber security issues. Partnering productively with stakeholders across the public and private sectors, I promote positive collaboration and harmonise diverse interests to achieve buy-in and streamline the impact of change.Additionally, with a reputation as an emotionally intelligent, inclusive and compassionate leader, I drive transformations in cultures and accountability while understanding that the role of a successful leader is to lay solid foundations to deliver objectives, yet remain flexible enough to adapt to continually shifting environments and goals.
