KWSEL was commissioned to deliver a confidential single point of access service to wellbeing and psychological support for all NHS and Social Care staff presenting with a range of mental and physical health difficulties.I provided senior leadership to several disciplines within the team including, Band7 Psychologists and Senior Mental Health Nurses, B6 Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Band5 Assistant Psychologists and administrators.The nature of my role required strong transformative leadership and project management skills, as well as flexibility and creativity to adapt to the changing needs of the service-users and stakeholders while remaining calm under pressure and balancing multiple deadlines. By identifying and addressing gaps in provision as well as monitoring KWSEL performance, I/the team met the needs of NHS and Social Care staff for example, providing topical support to medical staff regarding strikes and financial difficulties exacerbated by the cost of living crisis as well as ongoing understaffed working environments/impacts of this on staff and patient experience.I enjoy service development and am passionate about improving the experience of NHS/Social Care staff and continuing to lead a team with the same vision.I provided senior leadership, duty, clinical and risk management supervision to clinicians completing clinical assessments and treatment sessions via IAPT services and provided complex and urgent clinical assessments to staff. I also led the day to day running of the team which included managing the daily rota, facilitating multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and organising outreach events to promote the team across the SEL boroughs/to engage with internal/external stakeholders.I led on recruitment and employed a highly skilled team of clinicians who have developed experience in promoting and championing wellbeing and psychological support across the trust.

• I worked in an all age/life span Specialist Eating Disorder service (8+). I provided individual Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E) for adults presenting with/meeting criteria for Eating Disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Other specific Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED). I regularly work with comorbidity in addition to the above such as Personality Disorder (PD), childhood abuse, longstanding depression and complex PTSD.• I provided psychological assessment to both CAMHS and adult clients, routinely engaging with families throughout the treatment journey. • I triaged clients into the service which involves screening for suitability and providing duty support and liaison with external services.• I was the CBT group supervision lead which focuses of developing the skills and knowledge of the AP’s, CBT therapists and Clinical Psychologists within the team. I also manage the adult treatment waiting list. I have also taken responsibility as the Equality and Diversity lead and regularly sit on trust interview panels as an ethnic minority representative, with the aim to ensure equality and diversity isn’t overlooked by the panel.
