Excellent working knowledge on the beneficial owner (buy) side and Custodian (sell) sideAt Colonial First State (CFS) I managed the relationships with Custodians, Prime Brokers, Investment Managers, Data Vendors, tax agents/Class action recovery agents Including regular Operation due diligence, service reviews and acted as the escalation point for service issues etc.I have been instrumental in the selection of Global Custodians to CFS panel of Custodians. I was also responsible for fee & contractual negotiations preparation of SLA's and operation management and Implementation. The process also included Board reporting and following all Industry standards (ASIC) I lead the Implementation of Fund Services (Fund Administration) for CFS initially in 2010 and thereafter again in 2016 with the second Custodian. I was also responsible for launching Securities Lending for CFS. My team was also responsible for Transition Management/Implementation & on-boarding and for the operation management of approx. 75 Investment Managers worldwide and to ensure the processors relating to data flow of transactions executed by the IMs flow through to CFS via the custodian to maintain the accounting book of records. We manage relationships with Client Service teams with all major Custodians worldwide. I have been involved in Due Diligence visits to all our IMs worldwide.I joined State Street in India as Head of Global Operations in January 2018. I managed different custody operations teams based in Bangalore, Mumbai & Hyderabad. I did set up the Global Operations unit by moving functions from onshore to set up teams on schedule in all three locations of India. I have managed 500+ staff within these three locations with a 24x6 operation.At Milford Asset Management I lead the Change of Custodian & Fund Administrator from the initial RFP/Tender Management process, Board Approval to Implementation and execution of the transitions. I was also involved in the launch of our first ETF.
