Kemi the Changemaker is a seasoned Senior Programs Manager with over 7 years experience developing and managing projects across nonprofits and social enterprises.Kemi started Hub For Social Impact, an edtech that equips young Africans with technical skills to become changemakers and create sustainable solutions to social problems. The Changemakers' Hub has trained over 500 changemakers across Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, United States whilst creating sterling solutions. She believes in the power of young people to change the world. Kemi authored the book; We Should All Be Changemakers.Kemi has a huge dream; a Nigeria where every citizen has access to affordable and quality healthcare, without fear of financial risk/burden, regardless of socioeconomic status. She created the HealthRelief Project and Art and Music Festival that provided financial and psychological support to 100 chronically sick Nigerians who couldn't afford medical bills. In 2023, Kemi pivoted this innovation to a more sustainable social enterprise known as Health4Moni, an healthtech company that provides affordable health insurance to low-income Nigerians using the daily contributions model whilst giving them access to a savings net and investment opportunities to eradicate poverty. Health4Moni completed the Futurize HealthTech Incubator Program powered by AstraZeneca and Bristol Myers Squibb, got the Goshen Impact Fund in 2023 and won first place at the Bold Visionary Compass Accelerator Program Pitch in 2024. Kemi is concluding a Masters program in Public Health and is a certified project manager with certifications in Global Social Entrepreneurship, Nonprofit Leadership, Grantwriting & Fundraising, Multi-stakeholder Partnerships and Design Thinking in Social Innovation, amongst others. She is a ONE Campaign Youth Ambassador in Nigeria and was nominated as a 2023 Goalkeeper of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her work has been published in the media by the BusinessDay, Moveeco, ONE Campaign amongst many others. In the year 2024, Kemi has 3 goals; first is to provide affordable and quality health insurance to 1,000 low-income Nigerians and secondly; train 10,000 young Africans to become changemakers who create solutions that birth improved communities and lastly, help social enterprise and nonprofit organisations develop and implement pioneering strategies that enhance effective operations and bring about revolutionary impact. She looks forward to working with individuals and organizations with mutual interests, as started above.
