Main Responsibilities: • Influence the direction of the automation effort.• Provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing. Be creative and proactive thinker and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers and other Test team members as required on acceptance criteria that need to be tested. Review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.• Work closely with the Dev Ops team to implement automated regression test scripts to run as part of the Continuous Integration process.• Develop Integration with the test management tool to ensure that test coverage can be reported.Skills and experience:• Experience in architecting an automation framework and implementing best practices• Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Test Data management and reporting experience• Good understanding of testing practices across the SDLC, including unit, component, functional, regression, performance, security and integration testing;• Experience of Working with Continuous Integration/DevOps• Ability to prioritize and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment• Thorough knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning, test automation - API and UI, and defect management• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills• Proficiency in at least one tool from each of the following categories:• Defect Tracking• Automated Testing: JMeter, OWASP Zap, Junit, Cucumber, Selenium,java, c#.* Creation of frameworks (rest assured, bdd, selenium, cucumber, owasp)* • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE developer tools• Database Tools: PostgreSQL, SQL Developer or other query tools• Other Tools: Jenkins, GIT, Putty, WinSCP, Maven, Fiddler, postman
