Ken is a TMT industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the sector spanning entrepreneurship, investment banking, and strategic advisory. Ken is the founder and CEO of Thinkifi, a platform for online debate and civil discourse. Thinkifi's mission is to facilitate civic responsibility and the common good by providing a safe, trusted, constructive, measured, thoughtful and peaceful environment for people to discuss and debate ideas. Prior to founding Thinkifi, Ken was a Managing Director at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, a leading investment banking firm focused on M&A and capital raises for middle-market companies, where he led the firm's Technology Services practice, with a focus on IT Services, Digital Transformation, Tech-enabled Services, Managed Services, and Interactive Advertising Services. Ken's previous experience includes roles as a Managing Director at PJT Partners and its predecessor firm, Blackstone. Ken joined Blackstone in 2007 as one of the founding members of the Technology practice and helped grow the group to one of the most successful at the firm prior to its merger with PJT Partners. Prior to Blackstone, he was a banker in Deutsche Bank’s Technology group based in Boston. Ken started his career in the consulting industry at Bain & Company and The Parthenon Group, where he advised clients on growth and profitability optimization strategies. Over the course of his career, Ken has advised on over 40 transactions for clients having an aggregate value of over $40 billion. Ken’s clients have spanned leading firms including Acxiom/Liveramp, Accenture, Advent International, Appirio, Blackstone, CenturyLink, Charter Communications, General Atlantic, Publicis, Sapient, Sequoia Capital, Starwood Hotels, Xerox, and many others.Ken received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College’s Thayer School of Engineering, graduating with Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors, and earned his MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, where he graduated as a Tuck Scholar.
