Leading up to the acquisition, responsibilities included establishing the manufacturing strategy, advancing the production capabilities, increased facilities in support of business growth, driving process development, and implementing ISO 9001:2008 & 13485 Quality Management Systems in support of the strategy.• Oversaw the Manufacturing Team during the productizing of several state of the art laser products. This required working closely with the Engineering Team and overseeing the development of new Manufacturing Technologies, as well as obtaining capital investment to achieve volume.• Built a state of the art Directed Energy Laser facility; this required creating the business plan, obtaining Exec Management approval to secure $2.7M in funding. Subsequently coordinated the various stakeholders to create a facility specification and plan, hired the contractor team, and managed the 27,000 SF facility build out to operational readiness.
