Creating magical experiences in Haida Gwaii, The Great Bear Rainforest and Banff National Park which allow visitors to engage with nature and be inspired to preserve it.My main focus is building strong teams and creating cultures that deliver an exceptional product. Part of that process requires engaging all key stakeholders such as Indigenous groups, Parks Canada, vendors, multicultural workforces, and global and regional customers. In my current role, I took a collection of assets, put new management teams in place, created expectations about what it means to operate in a National Park and established a positive culture for our staff. We developed systems and KPI’s to keep focused on the right activities and increased consolidated revenues by 100% and profitability by over 300% (pre-COVID). Additionally our brands are now some of the most recognized in Banff National Park for quality, environmental and community impacts.
