This is a return to my roots. My very first job as a sophomore in high school was working at an A&P Grocery store on the south side of Chicago. Many fond memories, and many valuable life and work lessons learned during those five years of part time work. I learned about managing time (since time is all that we really have in this life) between the activities of work, school, athletics, family, church, and socializing. Also learned the important lessons of always being responsible and working hard because everything is what you make of it! I particularly enjoy the physical side of the grocery business (where there are no light duty jobs) and interacting with our customers. I am proud and honored to be a member of the Dorothy Lane Market team. DLM is unlike any other grocery chain in this country. Many of our well traveled customers (who, incidentally are the best customers in the world) attest to our outstanding world-class products, service, and the beautiful interior of our stores. Dorothy Lane Market has been in business since 1948 and today is a three store chain, all located in the Dayton, Ohio area. We have continued to do well despite big box and discount competition through excellent products, excellent customer service, and (most importantly) excellent management. DLM is truly unique and a wonderful place to work and shop. Dorothy Lane Market is much more than merely a place to buy groceries.

During my NCR years I completed many internal computer courses, plus 8 computer science courses at Sinclair Community College. In most jobs I was a heavy user (all day, every day) of the Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Access and some Powerpoint.
