Lead all aspects of facilities operations throughout hotel, casino, office and warehouse buildings, as well as related projects while supporting corporate objectives and enabling communication across all levels. Manage 200+ member staff with responsibility for equipment systems throughout all sites, including HVAC air handlers; equipment for seven restaurants, two spas, pool; three Trane Chillers; six BAC cooling towers; 12 boilers; 10 UPS systems; and seven emergency generators. Manage $11.5M operating budget and $10M capital budget for 4 buildings including casino and 200 room Hotel. Selective Achievements:• Energy Savings Projects: LED lighting upgrades with dimming controls, Centrifugal Chiller Rebuilds with VFDs achieving 18% tonnage increase, AHU & Cooling tower VFDs, and Boiler Replacements resulted in over $500k in utilities savings. • Improved protection against Covid-19 by implementing multiple improvements, including replacing older AC unit coils and insulation, installing temperature scanning at entrances, plexiglass barriers throughout, MERV 13 filters, HEPA air scrubbers, enzyme coil cleaning and improved sanitizing measures.• Led engineering team with 120,000 SF Casino Renovation project installing LED lighting with wireless dimming capabilities, RGBW LED Cove Lighting, new ceilings, painting, and bathroom renovations, resulting in annual energy savings of over $45k.• Led emergency project during Covid-19 shutdown to replace 540 ft. natural gas line with continuous polyethylene tubing after pitting failure.• Positively impacted technical team by hiring 175+ highly qualified engineering and environmental services employees. Implemented Maintenance Conscious Engineering into the project design.• Developed and implemented multiple initiatives and upgrades resulting in increased efficiency, cost savings, vastly improved safety, and greater communication among project team members.• Managed events setups, including World Poker Tournament.
