Mr. Charest has a diverse appraisal background, with experience in valuation, appraisal management and consulting services throughout the states of Maine and New Hampshire. Mr. Charest was responsible for the commercial real estate appraisal and environmental policies. Duties included preparation of in-house valuation assignments; review of over 2,000 independent fee appraisals; and consulting assignments for tax abatement purposes, OREO disposition and customer exit strategies.

Responsibilities included the ordering and review process for over 1,000 appraisal reports to ensure compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and Title XI of FIRREA.

Prepared commercial and residential real estate appraisals for lenders, private clients, and attorneys. While employed by Appraisal Associates, Mr. Charest owned and operated the Seafair Inn, a 20 unit bed & breakfast, located in Ogunquit, Maine.Prior to entering the appraisal profession, Mr. Charest was employed by Zayre Corporation as its distribution center manager; Responsibilities included operations, facilities management and store site location analyses.* SCOPE OF APPRAISAL EXPERIENCEMr. Charest has provided valuation services for a wide variety of property types throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
