I am an academic with particular research interest in network science, social physics, teams and stakeholder engagement. I am fascinated by properties of human social networks and how it bears influence and impact in our personal and professional lives - behaviour, learning, coordination, performance, etc. Likening human relationships to human social systems as social networks, I am intrigued by how the structure & relations of our personal networks, and our location within that network has huge implications on individual and group level outcomes.In teaching, I enjoy inspiring the young minds and talents at university. I learn very much from them while at the same time workintogetherg to make this world a better place, not only through knowledge but through development of the mind, intellect and character. My philosophy is simple - "We learn by heart when we are taught by heart" -- and this is of particular importance in teaching areas of project management.Beyond research and teaching, I also enjoy strategising educational curriculum and research agendas that are pivotal to the goal of creating leaders of tomorrow - the very leaders who will lead and teach my children how to lead. Other than that, I enjoy fatherhood - and everything else concerned with 'life'.
