    After the acquisition of Magnify by ChoicePoint in April 2005 and the subsequent acquisition of ChoicePoint by LexisNexis, I was the General Manager of the Claims Analytics unit. That group is at the forefront of developing analytics to help insurance carriers improve their claims payment processes. Anchored in predictive modeling, these analytics have addressed claims fraud, subrogation, claims severity, medical fraud and abuse, and other problems. The group has done work with auto, homeowners, workers compensation, general liability, long-term disability, and life coverages. In the past five years there has been an increasing emphasis on healthcare claims related work. My latter role at LexisNexis was as a subject matter expert working with clients in insurance and healthcare to help them make effective use of analytics in their claims workflow. My responsibilities included supporting our international expansion into India, Brazil, and China..
