Storage System provides the MCC-21 Operational History (OPS History) System that allows recording/storage/retrieval of Mission Control Center data. • A member of the Storage System team, using "Agile Development" methodologies to meet monthly development deadlines. • Added threading functionality to the Recorder and Cluster Task Manager.

Oracle Database Administrator: Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of morethan 100 databases supporting the Business Systems and Ground Operations at Kennedy Space Center and Johnson Space Center. Support company goals in new technologies, processes, and solutions to improve business operations with emphasis on database administration.• Performs the installation, administration, backup and recovery, monitoring, patching, upgrading,and tuning of large Enterprise wide Oracle databases.• Implemented Oracle’s Data Guard standby databases that reduced failover time from 2 daysto minutes, minimizing data loss rates to less than 15 minutes, and fully automated manual stepsinvolved with relocating production systems to disaster recovery sites.• Manages 25 mission critical production Oracle databases with a 24x7 support posture.• Delivers experience with upgrading Oracle databases from version 8 to 11 on HP-UX & MSWindows. Performs the installation, configuration, and administration of the PeoplesSoft Application Server, Process Scheduler, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, Tuxedo, and WebLogic.

Programmed, developed, and tested the laptop system interface used to control systems on the International Space Station. This critical application is used by astronauts on the Space Station as well as personal located in Mission Control. NASA provided requirements from which we would develop the interface under strict scheduling. Responsibilities include sub-system lead for the ECLS (life support configuration and monitoring). Intensive testing procedures were implemented and maintained to resolve any bugs from this critical interface.

Performed duties as software evaluator and tester for Electronic Arts on the PC game System Shock 2 by Irrational Games. Activities included locating, documenting, and tracking software bugs as well as create comprehensive walkthroughs for entire game.
