When I was ten years old, I was cast as the lead in my school's holiday play. I liked it. A lot. And I wanted to be in another one. But opportunities proved to be scarce until the day I realized that I could just "borrow" my family's video camera and make anywhere my stage. And so began my life as a storyteller. I have been exceptionally fortunate to have worked in my chosen field since graduating from college. I consider my time in Los Angeles to be especially valuable - a true baptism by fire which taught me that filmmaking, while both an art and a business, is also a craft and a skill. And though skills can be honed and crafts developed, knowing how and when to apply them to any given situation is the true art. I specialize in film/video production that helps companies establish brand identity and create brand awareness. I also have extensive experience in creating educational, training and documentary content.In addition to my work as a film producer and editor, I also study improvisation and perform regularly in Chicago. Improvising is a joy for me. Being on stage in front of an audience reminds me of those first moments on stage in fifth grade where my love of storytelling was born.
