Responsible for initial and on-going development and deployment strategies for a multi-user, web-based procurement platform, servicing approximately 13,000 customer accounts (internal and external), generating $7 billion+ per year in purchases. Additional responsibilities include contract oversight; implementation and management of new and existing EDI vendors. Manage and oversee technology relationships with our supply chain partners, and ensure implementation of EDI setups between our vendors and business partners. Ensure deployment and support organizations are in place to facilitate deplpyment and support to our customer units, our internal business sectors, and our procurement division. As department lead, we are responsible for all deployment-related activities to provide this turn-key application to our units and our external customers. From a product development and deployment perspective, the department is responsible for receiving feedback from our operations and evaluation of that feedback for potential inclusion in the application, as well as the requirements gathering and roadmap approvals of any submitted changes. We also manage the coordination of activities between these business partners as technology and platforms change, and as new suppliers are brought onto the system.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – FIELD SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS DIVISION• Responsible for planning and implementing enterprise-class projects that will strategically strengthen our business position as compared to our competitors• Currently focused on business process improvement and procurement projects for our Group Purchasing Organization, Foodbuy; with scope including:• Evaluate current business processes and determine areas for improvement that align with changes in our technology organization• Lead the business change from a cultural, as well as a business process and procedure perspective• Deployment of a centralized purchasing system for our end unit dining centers, to be used for acquisition of food product, as well as paper and non-food items, to approximately 5,000 business units.
