Position Overview: We are seeking a creative, but practical Compensation Professional to join our Compensation Team and other HR Professionals in providing total compensation solutions to support our business objectives. The selected candidate will conduct job analysis and job evaluation activities to determine market competitive targeted compensation for positions at all levels in our organization. The candidate will also provide ongoing administrative support for executive compensation programs. Other key activities will consist of consulting with line management on pay administration practices and policies, facilitating the development of job descriptions/job design in support of market pricing activities, and researching exempt/nonexempt issues. The candidate will effectively utilize and support our participation in national, regional, and local compensation surveys as well as conducting custom surveys. Assisting in the ongoing refinement of pay administration policies and procedures will be additional responsibilities.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent education or professional experience. Masters degree or equivalent experience is desirable. Professional compensation experience should consist of two to five years in an evolving and dynamic corporate or consulting environment. Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of core compensation activities including position evaluation, compensation survey participation and utilization, pay administration policies and practices, pay increase budget development and administration, recognition/rewards programs, and the legal framework of compensation.Specialties: A fundamental knowledge of executive compensation practices, long term and short term incentive programs, equity based compensation, variable pay strategies and global compensation strategies is required. Prior successful experience in developing effective professional working relationships, highly proficient communication, writing and consulting skills, demonstrated financial acumen and proven analytical ability and conceptualization skills are essential.
