3 month contract, responsibilities for the effective and efficient management of a portfolio of approx 200 properties based in the Southend area. 3 staff members. Responsible for credit control on all property portfolios. Issue of all section notices, Preparation of Court paperwork, undertaking Court action and attending Court and evictions. Southend Council SEAL liaison. Dealing with customer complaints, written and orally. MARLA technical level 4.

Contractor Southend Borough Council – Estate Officer/ Fraud Investigator, Investigation in to Housing Benefit Fraud, verification of official documentation including passports and driving licences. Monitoring of arrears, rent collection, by phone, letter and home visit. Production of court documentation and prosecution also attending Court on behalf of the council in possession cases. Attend property with bailiffsto take possession. General management of approx 500 properties. Reduction of rent arrears by approx 33% over 12 month period. At weekends I work as a fraud consultant providing evidence packages and witness statements for police investigations through a computer forensic and data recovery company.
