Oversaw user acceptance testing for the initial deployment of the Richmond TOC Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS).

Developed alternative data communication system architectures for existing and proposed Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic control systems. Prepared and submitted proposed system architecture changes to the FAA’s National Airspace System (NAS) using formal systems engineering and configuration management methodologies. Conducted reliability analyses on key system components within the FAA’s NAS.Developed an Interface Control Document (ICD) to define and govern the transmission of large atmospheric forecast models from the National Weather Service (NWS) to the FAA. Modeled the projected data traffic for proposed weather systems interfacing to the FAA’s packet-switched network.Developed functional and performance specifications for digital voice recorders to replace analog voice recording technologies at FAA Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC).

Manufactured analyzers from multi-layered bills of material and provided configuration management over firmware releases. Designed, implemented and documented hardware upgrades.
