Smart Digital Payment Cards have broad application, from benefits and incentives programs to the efficiency of emergency disaster response, and were first developed in partnership with Walmart. Previously, Ken founded Employer Direct Healthcare, where he enrolled multiple Fortune 500 employers in bundled care networks that improved outcomes and increased patient agency in their healthcare decisions. As founder and CEO of the first International PPO, Global Choice Healthcare, and founder and CEO of the first domestic medical-travel network, Healthplace America, Ken was among the first to apply basic business, economic, and marketing principles to healthcare. By doing so, he established the first medical network built on global case rates, allowing health plans to understand the actual costs of major medical procedures.
