I work as a Captain, Check Airman and Director of Safety at Burgess Aircraft Management flying the Cessna Citation CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3+, Sovereign and Sovereign Plus. It is a delight to work in an aviation environment where safety is paramount, training is constant and strong mentorship is implemented to ensure constant growth in our piloting skills and safety awareness both on the ground and in the air.In 2010, I, along with fellow pilot Tim Pryse, flew a GA8-TC Airvan around the world which was recognized as the first Australian designed and manufactured aircraft to ever circumnavigate this planet. In 2011, Fédération Aéronautique Internationale recognized the flight as an official circumnavigation and awarded both Tim and I the Circumnavigator’s Diploma for an Eastbound Circumnavigation of the earth.
