I'm an experienced electrical engineer in the lighting industry with a focus on PCB layout and circuit design for light engines. I am well practiced in assessing and revising the optical performance, beam quality, and color uniformity for an overall light fixture.I believe a meticulous attention to detail and unrelenting desire to understand the "how" and "why" of a design or process is what makes a great engineer. In other words, a comprehension of what exactly is in the black box, the resources and tools we have as inputs, and of course the desired deliverables to output. This level of understanding allows for attacking a problem or design from multiple angles, and easily coming up with the best solution or improvement.I accredit my success in my career to having this mindset accompanied with an unwavering thirst to continually learn and embrace the new, along with an uncompromising discontent with the status quo. There is always a way to improve upon a design or process if there is something new to learn about it.
