My responsibility as the Compliance Manager is to maintain compliance to ISO 9001:2008 / AS9100 Revision “C” Standards and to ensure that Nor-Ral is operating within the requirements set forth by our Primes and NADCAP Requirements in relation to the Composites Processing. This is accomplished by continuing to improve the Quality Management System and performing Job Audits during which any findings issued would create areas for improvement thru the Corrective Action Process.

I was also responsible for establishing the calibration process at Nor-Ral this included the writing of the calibration procedures thru the actual calibration of processing equipment. During my employment with Nor-Ral I had the opportunity to have our Painting Operation certified to Mil-F-18264D both Lockheed and Gulfstream have accepted Nor-Ral for Special Process painting. I was also able to certify our company for NDT Liquid Penetrant Testing to NAS410 and at the time I was able to recertify myself as a Level II VT & FPI Inspector. Show less

At Crane Aerospace I was responsible for maintaining compliance to FAA/JAA Regulations.This is accomplished by maintaining the calibration of tooling, reviewing and updating work orders for completeness and creating procedures to support the Inspections Procedure Manual. I was also involved with reviewing and updating Cranes Aerospace’s Inspections Procedures Manual. During my employment with Crane I had the opportunity to obtain a level II Penetrant Inspector Certification.
