Working in an Agile environment, I created and executed test cases for web applications and web services. I then automated test cases using Java, Selenium, JUnit, jRuby and Watir. My work also involved periodic restoration and replication of databases in the QA test environment.

During this time I ran BVTs and in-depth tests for the Office Communicator teleconferencing application, and also the Microsoft Phone. I installed the daily firmware builds on the phone using Platform Builder, and collected debug logs from the device to enable developers to resolve issues found.

In this assignment I implemented a QA process from scratch for testing the e-Commerce website. I selected and set up a bug tracking system, created an in-depth test suite, and worked with the program manager and developers on bugs found.

Here I was testing a medical device for providing real-time co-ordinates of cancer tumors during radiation treatment. I ran test cases for device functionality, software error messages, patient settings, radiation beam detection, and reports. I also audited test case results documented by other members of the QA team for accuracy and completness.

In this position I wrote and executed in-depth and long-haul tests for the Microsoft AdCenter application, aka Bing Ads. I also set up and managed multiple test machines in the lab to run BVT's using the WTT distributed test automation framework.

Here I wrote and executed test cases for in-depth testing of the Client Migration application, and reviewed product specifications and application features with developers. I also used VBScript to automate a time-intensive test case, and created a tool enabling customers to retreive log files for customer support.

In this assignment I tested the Getty Images customer facing and internal websites. I performed end-to-end testing of the purchase path and product download, and automated tests using an internal automation tool. I also wrote SQL queries to retrieve data to use for testing.

During this time I worked in the Office group testing the Live Meeting teleconferencing application. I wrote test cases for setup, address book and meeting execution. For the MSN Mobile group I performed website testing on PC's and PDA's, and performed WAP testing on wireless phones and simulators on US and Internation platforms.

For BSquare I wrote test plans and specifications for a web application for administrating thin client devices. I ran acceptance and in-depth testing of the application, and ran integration tests of server and client side applications using various hardware configurations.
