    At Tighe & Bond, as the Technical Specialist for the emergency response program, I managed the emergency response program in three MA offices for 15 years for a geographical area that included MA, NH and RI. As an LSP and PG, I oversaw and managed numerous complex geological and hydrogeological investigations, site assessments (including VI), and landfill post closure monitoring and remediation projects throughout MA, CT, NH and RI and have conducted environmental assessments and remediation projects throughout the US, Canada and Europe for various venture capital clients. I developed internal SOPs within Tighe & Bond for several disciplines. I also served as the Group Leader for the ESA practice in our Worcester, MA office.In the ER world, I managed the environmental assessment and remediation program for power utility clients which included 24/7/365 on call services. This responsibility involved intricate coordination of day to day operations as well as involvement of our entire team during natural disasters (major ice storms, micro-bursts, hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards). These services often required rapid evaluation of conditions, triaging, initial access & safety appraisal, and environmental cleanup and site restoration which enabled efficient restoration of the electrical power grid during and after these events. These coordinated efforts included cooperative engagement with the utilities, regulators, private citizens and the local communities affected by those events.Like many in our industry, I have participated in numerous Phase I/II ESAs, completed significant work under the MCP on sites impacted by nearly every major contaminant. I have guided public and private clients through countless regulatory changes resulting in successful closure of legacy sites. I also specialized in bedrock aquifer investigations including fracture trace analysis, geophysical data collection and interpretation and design and implementation of dye tracer studies.
