Bridge Corp Volunteer, fund raiser and technical advisor for pedestrian bridge design and construction. 1 in 7 people on this planet lack safe access to basic necessities in life; I aim to help fix that. As a Bridge Corps Volunteer, I regularly travel to developing countries within the B2P program and work with in-country and internationally diverse travel teams to use my experience in geology, project management and construction on design and construction of pedestrian foot bridges as well as mentoring and training staff. I also conduct annual fund raisers, remotely review existing and proposed bridge locations with the lead B2P engineer to assist in bridge alignment, participate in post-build construction/safety/logistics debriefs, and consult on alignment and design parameters relative to geological and fluvial concerns. Thus far I have been fortunate to aid in the on-site construction of footbridges in 6 countries on 3 continents that continue to serve thousands of amazing humans.

As part owner of a small lake and watershed management business with my wife since 2009, I am responsible for the operations side of the business. My wife and better half is the brains behind the organization.

As a Senior Project Manager at Coneco, I served as a Team Leader and managed numerous environmental assessment and remediation projects throughout MA, NH and RI. I assisted in the continued development of our On-boarding, Report Writing and Training Work Groups and co-managed the ER on call program that serves electrical utility clients throughout eastern New England. I also continued my volunteer work with Bridges to Prosperity throughout Latin and South America, Africa and Haiti with the corporate support needed to undertake these considerably meaningful endeavors.

As a Senior Project Manager at Weston & Sampson I oversaw numerous environmental assessment and remediation projects throughout MA, NH and CT. I helped develop and managed the ER on call program that serves electrical utility clients throughout New England. The team at Weston & Sampson allowed me to continue to expand my significant experience and expertise within the environmental and hydrogeologic arena, including Brownfield assessment and remediation, in order to better serve our private, state and municipal clients located throughout New England. I was also very fortunate to have the corporate support to continue my volunteer work with Bridges to Prosperity throughout Latin and South America, Africa and Haiti, including leading a team of 5 Weston & Sampson employees during the construction of pedestrian footbridge in Nicaragua in partnership with 5 engineers from the FHECOR office in Madrid.

At Tighe & Bond, as the Technical Specialist for the emergency response program, I managed the emergency response program in three MA offices for 15 years for a geographical area that included MA, NH and RI. As an LSP and PG, I oversaw and managed numerous complex geological and hydrogeological investigations, site assessments (including VI), and landfill post closure monitoring and remediation projects throughout MA, CT, NH and RI and have conducted environmental assessments and remediation projects throughout the US, Canada and Europe for various venture capital clients. I developed internal SOPs within Tighe & Bond for several disciplines. I also served as the Group Leader for the ESA practice in our Worcester, MA office.In the ER world, I managed the environmental assessment and remediation program for power utility clients which included 24/7/365 on call services. This responsibility involved intricate coordination of day to day operations as well as involvement of our entire team during natural disasters (major ice storms, micro-bursts, hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards). These services often required rapid evaluation of conditions, triaging, initial access & safety appraisal, and environmental cleanup and site restoration which enabled efficient restoration of the electrical power grid during and after these events. These coordinated efforts included cooperative engagement with the utilities, regulators, private citizens and the local communities affected by those events.Like many in our industry, I have participated in numerous Phase I/II ESAs, completed significant work under the MCP on sites impacted by nearly every major contaminant. I have guided public and private clients through countless regulatory changes resulting in successful closure of legacy sites. I also specialized in bedrock aquifer investigations including fracture trace analysis, geophysical data collection and interpretation and design and implementation of dye tracer studies.

Client and Project Manager for National Petroleum distributor. At ENSR my team and I conducted numerous site investigations and remediation projects throughout New England. I also conducted wetland mapping utilizing GPS and GIS software to map out wetland areas along a linear pipeline project.
